Cløthes shøuld adapt tø peøple.
Nøt the øther way arøund.
At SVEASØN, sustainability is nøt just abøut using “better” materials.
It’s abøut sløwing things døwn, making with intentiøn, and creating pieces peøple actually want tø live in 🌿
We believe fashiøn can be playful, expressive, emøtiønal, and still mindful at the same time.
🌿 MATERIALS & MAKING
Many øf øur pieces are made using deadstøck fabrics, leftøver materials, and carefully søurced textiles.
A løt øf these fabrics cøme frøm øur øwn archive. Søme were cøllected during øur studies, søme while traveling, and søme simply stayed with us because they still deserved a future ✨
Whenever we søurce new materials, we try tø wørk with fairly and sustainably prøduced fabrics whenever pøssible.
Instead øf endless prøductiøn and waste, we try tø wørk with what already exists whenever pøssible.
🪡 DESIGNED TØ STAY
We design cløthes that can møve, change, adapt, and stay with peøple før a løng time.
Many SVEASØN pieces are adjustable, reversible, ør flexible in fit. We want them tø møve thrøugh different bødies, seasøns, møøds, and ways øf living.
Because peøple change.
And cløthes shøuld alløw that.
🌈 MØRE THAN JUST MATERIALS
Tø us, sustainability alsø means inclusivity, transparency, care, and emøtiønal cønnectiøn.
We create gender-øpen pieces designed før different bødies and persønalities. Cløthing shøuld feel freeing, cømfortable, expressive, and easy tø exist in 🤍
We believe peøple keep things lønger when they truly feel cønnected tø them.
✨ SLØWER RHYTHMS
SVEASØN dœsn’t really believe in fast fashiøn rhythms.
We prefer small batches, sløwer prøcesses, and thoughtful making. Many pieces are develøped cløse tø høme, surrounded by sketches, fabric piles, threads øn the fløør, and a little bit øf beautiful chaøs ✨
Our pieces are prøduced either in øur øwn atelier in the Hamburg countryside ør at FABRIC - Hamburg’s urban prøductiøn space focused øn løcal and møre mindful fashiøn prøductiøn.
By keeping much øf øur prøcess cløse tø høme, we can stay møre connected tø the way things are actually made.
🤍 NØT PERFECT. JUST HØNEST.
We døn’t believe sustainability means being perfect.
There is always møre tø learn, rethink, repair, and imprøve. But we believe hønesty matters møre than pretending tø have all the answers.
